“Most hacking attempts are easily avoided”

NetCaptain keeps hackers out

Many cyber attacks are relatively easy to prevent. This is because hackers usually exploit known weaknesses in systems for which solutions have already been found.

Yet it often turns out to be complicated to make sure that all systems are safe. How do you know for sure whether a security update has actually solved the problem and whether all servers were covered during the process?

Insight into vulnerabilities

Security scans are used to examine systems, network components, and web applications for security vulnerabilities. By removing these vulnerabilities, the resilience against cyber attacks increases and the chance of a successful attack reduces to a minimum.

Understandable and affordable

Every day, new software vulnerabilities are discovered. Keeping track of this continuous stream of new leaks requires a smart approach. We call this Vulnerability Management.

NetCaptain automates this process for you and provides you with clear advice.

NetCaptain dashboard

A clear dashboard

At a glance, you will be able to see where you stand: are we getting more secure? Where in my company are the biggest risks? What vulnerabilities need my attention straight away? The NetCaptain dashboard is designed to provide immediate answers to those questions.

Vulnerabilities

Manage your vulnerabilities

All vulnerabilities are clearly displayed in the vulnerabilities tab. Similar vulnerabilities are automatically categorized. In addition, you will be able to see how long a vulnerability has been open. NetCaptain keeps a complete history of all vulnerabilities. When a vulnerability suddenly reappears, you will instantly receive a warning notification.

Automations

Automate your process

With NetCaptain you can schedule when you would like to scan. The workstations during working hours, the network equipment at night, and the Windows server after Patch Tuesday.

NetCaptain Trend overview

Trend overview

The trend overview shows you how secure your network is over time. Here, the number of vulnerabilities and the CyberRisk are displayed. This way you can keep a close eye on the progress of your vulnerability management.

The CyberRisk is a rating that NetCaptain automatically calculates based on the found vulnerabilities. Severe vulnerabilities count more heavily. Besides, the importance of a system and whether it’s digitally reachable is taken into account.

Scans

Manage your scans

From the scans overview, you can keep track of all your scans. Here, you can see which vulnerabilities have been detected, when a scan has taken place, what credentials have been used, and what errors have occurred.

Here,  you can also manage discovery scans. Discovery scans are used to discover new systems in your network. This prevents you from having to deal with forgotten systems.

Get help

Help is always close at hand

Sometimes it can be difficult to estimate how bad a vulnerability is for a specific situation. With the Get Help feature, you can ask questions to our ethical hackers about a vulnerability directly from your dashboard. This way you always have access to the right tools, but also to the right knowledge. With NetCaptain you are never alone.

The Get Help feature is available for Professional and Enterprise customers.
